This is was my go-to takedown on duty as a police officer. It worked on countless suspects of all shapes and sizes who weren’t quite ready to run or fight, but also weren’t exactly cooperating with the arrest. This takedown does not look brutal or violent, is relatively safe and you won’t end up on bottom or in a scramble.
