Digging up a Survival – Bug Out – SHTF Cache after 1 year – Desert Survival Bugout Cache

I return to dig up a survival SHTF bug out cache I buried along the route to my bugout location I over a year ago. This was a hasty sustainment cache with minimum preparation. It was a bit of an experiment to see how the cache would hold up over the winter (all 4 seasons) and if the items I put in it would suffer the conditions.
