Kit List and Clothing Load-out for the Hunter Gatherer Primitive Survival Challenge.

In this video, I will be going through my clothing and kit list for the Hunter Gatherer Challenge run by Joe O’Leary at Wilderness Survival Skills. There is a strict, very limited list of kit to take on this challenge to encourage you to think about finding and making what you need in order to survive for an extended period of time in the wild. This includes shelter making, making a bed, making fire, finding and purifying water, gathering food and making a primitive hunting weapon. My personal choices were based on previous experience and preferences built up over a long period of time and they worked well for me.

The Hunter Gatherer challenge is a four day, four night primitive wilderness survival challenge set amongst a vast woodland area in Wiltshire, South West England. It is tough trial, designed to test your existing knowledge and skills, as well as your mental and physical endurance.

I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
