Surviving the Canning Lid Shortage – Six Months Later and Still Sealed

Used Canning Lid and Gasket Controversy – Still Sealed after 6 months. I had many complaints that 100 days was not enough to prove this works and that I would be hurting a small business. On Jan 6, 2022 It will be a full 6 months since I canned these jars using a “Used” canning lid and a Tattler Gasket. They are still sealed, and I don’t plan to open these jars for at least another 6 months. I reviewed the Tattler and Harvest Guard sites…Harvest Guard still has 100pk bulk gaskets available on back order and Tattler offers a 12pk. Both firms are still in business and offering products for sale in spite of me and the big “C”
